Award winning illustrator and book designer, Lucy Smith specialises in children's picture books.  Experienced in the publishing world, Lucy is also an art director and project manager for self publishers, over seeing the entire publishing process for clients at Authologie.  Lucy also works with corporate clients to produce exciting graphics to compliment their corporate message.

Lucy lives in Cheshire, England, with her husband and two sons.

As an experienced former school teacher and psychology graduate, Lucy has a in-depth knowledge of language development and the role high quality literature and illustrations play in encouraging a life long love of reading.  Her past career paved the way for her success as a children’s book illustrator.

Although based in the UK, Lucy works with clients from all over the world.  Her working hours are flexible so as to accommodate differing time zones.
